Why You Should Verify Information for Your Byway
The information for the byways has been gathered from many sources over many years by many different people. Hence the information displayed on the byway's webpage might not be correct, it might be inappropriate, or it might be out of date. By verifying your byway information you can ensure that the information that is displayed for your byway is what you want.
Your Role as a Verifier
As a user with byway level access for a particular byway (typically a byway leader), you will be responsible for reviewing information displayed for that byway on the NSB website. Periodically, emails will be sent to you from the NSB website staff regarding what information needs to be verified for your byway. When you find information for your byway that is not correct or that needs to be changed, you report the change or error by using the Verification System.
