National Scenic Byways and All-American Roads
In lieu of the funding statement, the logo is required to be used by All-American Roads and National Scenic Byways in publications, videos and other mediums produced with funding provided by FHWA. Where possible and in addition to the logo, include the following statement: "Funded in part by Federal Highway Administration." Please follow the Graphic Standards Manual.
State designated byways
For all materials developed with funding provided by FHWA, the following phrase should appear, "Funded in part by Federal Highway Administration." The America's Byways logo cannot be used in association with state designated byways that have not been designated as All-American Roads or National Scenic Byways.
Mix of national and state designated roads
For materials developed with funding provided by FHWA that include both state and nationally designated roads, the following parameters should be followed:
- Use of the America's Byways logo is optional;
- If you choose to use the logo, it must only be associated with the nationally designated roads;
- Where several nationally designated byways are represented in the material, the use of the logo should be consistent (version, color, size, etc.).
