Assessing and Sustaining the Quality of the America's Byways® Collection

In 2007 and 2008, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) sponsored a research effort to compile and analyze information on the quality of America’s Byways and the results of projects funded through the National Scenic Byways Program. As we look forward to the future, FHWA will be releasing the results of this effort over the next couple of months for discussion and comment. The fourth and final installment, Directions for the Program, is now available.
