The Civil War Preservation Trust (CWPT) is partnering with The History Channel and Globe-Pequot Press to publish a new edition of The Official Guide to the Civil War Discovery Trail. CWPT, in preparation for the new publication, is accepting new sites into the program and updating the current site information.

The byway advocates for FHWA�s mythical Big Waters Scenic Byway have completed their nomination. Download and examine one example of a completed nomination with supporting documents. FHWA isn�t exactly sure what a successful nomination will look like. We offer this example in hopes it helps nominees see the possibilities for telling your own byway nomination story.

Posters highlighting distinct features recognized by AASHTO in their recently completed “The Road Beckons: Best Practices for Byways” program are now available for download.
